The neighbour next-door - Russia in Transformation
19/04/2012
This web documentary appears as the European Union and the Russian Federation continue to advance wide-ranging, sometimes difficult negotiations towards a new Partnership and Cooperation Agreement governing future relations.
It seeks to break stereotypes and show the human side of the rapid push for modernisation taking place in Russia today.
It presents characters that are ordinary and extraordinary at the same time; people whose lives and visions speak beyond the borders of their vast country.
In the words of one, 'Russia today is nothing like it was 10 years ago. In the next 10 years it will be nothing like it is now'.
